Dr. Falk is one of the three Managing Partners at OCVH and has been practicing companion animal medicine and surgery here for more than 30 years.
A 1972 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Manhattan, Kansas, Dr. Falk is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association (NJVMA) and the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). Dr. Falk is also a member of the Jersey Shore Veterinary Medical Association (JSVMA) where he was honored as veterinarian of the year in 1994. He is also a founder and charter member of the Jersey Shore Veterinary Emergency Service (JSVES). Presently, he co-chairs the NJVMA Public Relations Committee promoting awareness of veterinary services provided to the public.
Dr. Falk feels strongly about client education, promoting pet wellness, the Human-Animal Bond (HAB) and dealing with pet loss. He teaches many pet care workshops throughout the year, both at OCVH and at community outreach educational programs in Ocean County. In the past, Dr. Falk hosted a live call-in radio show and was recently selected a VNN (Veterinary News Network) reporter to help provide local news stories, current issues and advances in animal medicine to television, radio and print media.
He also enjoys the lighter side of veterinary medicine as the in-house veterinarian for Bark in the Park, where baseball fans bring their dogs to a Lakewood Blue Claws game. Along with his wife and two sons, he spends his “free” time gardening, biking, traveling and enjoying the beach. Return
I've been with Dr. Falk at OCVH for over 20-25 years. I wouldn't trust our “furkids” at any other place. Thank all of you for taking care of all our “furkids” all these years.
